No serious action is taken until diseases are a threat to the west: Polio, for example, was detected in Deir al-Balah and Khan Younis back in June. It’s no surprise then, that the first officially declared case, is a 10 month-old baby from this exact same region. Of course, as one doctor reminds the world, there’s never only one case: if one person has the disease, then another 200 others are likely infected. They just haven’t had enough symptoms to either know they are ill, or they haven’t had access to a hospital. They may even suffer in silence in a tent, having spread the disease to the rest of their family, who’ve been out to collect water, or food, or been moved under israeli evacuation orders. This is the whole point of expelling displaced people from one area to the next: it spreads the disease, and it’s cheaper than bombing.
The WHO and UNICEF are requesting a seven-day “pause” in the genocide to allow for two rounds of vaccination campaigns to give families a chance to reach health facilities or hospitals — hospitals that the Israelis have already mostly destroyed — or for community outreach workers to find them in a sea of over one million tents. After that, the Israelis can continue bombing them to death: that’s the ridiculousness of a “humanitarian pause” — but, as no one knows how long this particular variant of Polio can live in the soil, or in the bodies of the dead, it also ensures that Israelis can build their posh new beach front settlements in Gaza without the fear of Polio lurking in the drains, or contaminating their Japanese Koi carp garden ponds.
Fact: we know that Israeli troops were unsurprisingly already vaccinated before the WHO even declared the disease was prevalent. Strange that they would suddenly deem that Polio was a risk, seeing as it had been totally eradicated from Gaza 33 years ago — a figure they’ve now also conveniently altered to 25 years, so it doesn’t seem so radical. They may also have forgotten to mention, it had already been detected in Israeli settlement sewage over a year ago. Was that the same sewage that was emptied into Northern Gaza when the rain got a bit too much for Israeli liking? — that time they lifted the rain barriers and flooded acres of Palestinian crops in northern Gaza — oh yes, that one.
All fingers point to the fact that the Israeli military knew very well that Polio was already in Gaza, sitting in the soil and waiting for a genocide to come along, which conveniently destroyed the health sector, executed all the doctors and skin specialists, bombed the hospitals and laboratories into ruin, and very conveniently smashed the sewage infrastructure into smithereens, along with the mains water pipe lines. In addition, and just to make sure the plan worked, the Israelis left 100s of 1000s of bomb craters in the landscape that would collect up the contaminated flood water into pools and mix in with the mountains of human waste and decomposing bodies — where eventually dehydrated Palestinian children, denied drinking water, would naturally or desperately flock to drink from.
We won’t know how many other diseases are lurking in the ground water, unless some Israeli who converts to having a conscience admits to actually having received several preventative vaccinations: I imagine that information is gagged. Maybe they also received Dyptheria, Typhoid, Yellow Fever, Meningitis, Rubella, or even this incredibly old “MPox” which first reared its head in 1973 — and this brings me back to my initial point: no serious action is taken until diseases are a threat to the west. As long as Africa has it, and it stays in Africa, then it isn’t an emergency. When the disease ends up in Sweden and Britain, then it’s all hands on deck. In truth, the public health emergency should have been declared as soon as the disease was detected and not when it left home looking for a ‘whiter’ host.
Of course, we can deny all these facts, quash the evidence and limply try to disprove it all as conspiracy theory, but I’m pretty sure, most of us know by now, that nothing the Israelis do, doesn’t have a long term meticulously-engineered plan behind it — the blueprint for genocide.
For anyone who doesn’t trust vaccinations; be assured, many of us don’t anymore, but this particular new-kid-on-the-block strain of VDPV2 Polio, doesn’t just spread rapidly and it doesn’t just cause paralysis; it kills. The trust factor actually comes from the fact that this pre-made vaccine isn’t to save Palestinian children — it’s to save the people aiding and abetting in the genocide. It’s to prevent it spreading outside Gaza, infecting Israelis, and running wild across undetermined borders via airports and military bases, where it’s free to become an uncontrollable pandemic. To date, there currently aren’t enough vaccine doses in the world’s laboratory fridges to cater for this little act of [alleged] biowarfare that’s accidentally grown a life of its own.
As Palestinian resident physician at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Gaza, Dr. Tawil pointed out: without the vaccine, we all die.
